Our activities

Corona Borealis organises regularly presentations and workshops on topics related to astronomy such as on the solar system, planets, deep-sky objects, lunar eclipses. The presentations are supported with visuals from PowerPoint or sometimes even short movies. If the weather permits we always open up the observatory to look at planets.

Workshops and masterclasses

Each year we organise a course on astronomy and regularly we come up with workshops on topics such as astrophotography, staroocultation and yes, we even had a sushi-workshop lately for members of Corona Borealis.

Youth activities

Each month we open up especially for young people and inform them in a practical way about the beauties of the sky. As a foundation we also teach in local schools on the subject of astronomy and nature, that way bringing the subject into the schools and giving children the opportunity to get curious about the subject at hand. We invite them to visit our youth activities at the observatory.
